After heavy rain on the Tuesday prior to the Outspan, the weather cleared and the forecast was good for the next few days, so the Bond-Smith’s, Lawrence’s and Heath’s decided to arrive on Thursday and set up camp.

The adventure begins!

When we were last at Stille Waters in 2024 we camped on site 6 which is the largest site and comes complete with swimming pool and large Lapa.

The outspan this weekend was at our favourite and beautiful Miller’s Point Resort, just outside of Simonstown.

Our weekend getaway to Langebaan from 13th March to 16th March 2025 was nothing short of delightful, with stunning weather and a hint of wind that made the experience even more enjoyable.

What a beautiful new spot we got to try out, on the banks of the Breede River in Robertson. We had 4 sites to share amongst the 8 of us with ample space to pitch our tents and caravans on the riverfront

How can you begin to describe the sheer beauty of this Breath-taking break-away trip. First & foremost, thank you to Sandra for the planning, Preparation & Organisation. We truly would not have fitted so much in, in this short space of time.

What an incredible weekend we had at Onrus Camping Site in Hermanus! Just 100 km from Cape Town, this beautiful coastal spot once again set the scene for an unforgettable Laager 15 getaway.

The new year has greeted us with some lovely weather after the rains and we are all geared up for a fantastic year of camping with our Laager families.

For our first outspan of 2025 we agreed to visit Berg River and stay at site E if available. Site E was available and Alex and Colleen, Alan and Meryl and the Browns were in attendance for the planned weekend 25 to 27 January
